Here we go! In part 1 of this little "Make $1k in August" series I covered how to leverage OTHER people's audiences to make money. It's a really simple process actually. You basically work with other people who already have an audience and you do the marketing for them. Think of it like this. If you wanted to mine gold, and you knew where to go... but someone else had the shovel. You'd make a great team right? Well, that's the case here too! We spent about 6 years leveraging the above technique and I made thousands a month doing that. Now... let's cover another technique that can actually be pretty fun. COLD EMAIL... Now I know, you may THINK cold email sounds like spam but there is a bit of a difference. With "cold email" we aren't mass broadcasting to everyone all at once. Cold email requires a more personalize approach. It's less about VOLUME and more about QUALITY. I'd rather send 100 cold emails a day to perfectly qualified people, with a VERY specific message, than send 1,000 emails to a lot of people that's very non specific. So here's what you need for cold email... then I'll explain how we do it to make money promoting other people's products. First - you'll need a list of emails you can send to. That's pretty obvious right? I've used a BUNCH of different programs and systems but one I love is Builtwith.com - they are a platform that allows you to search for email addresses associated with certain websites. I'll explain this in a minute, but just know that you can use BuiltWith.com to get email addresses for people that use Shopify, for instance. Second - you need a Gmail or email account that you can send emails from. (There are methods you can use to automate that, which I'll cover as we continue). Third - you need an offer that is SPECIFIC to this audience. Let's say that I could get a list of people that use Shopify, and I sell an app that helps Shopify store owners make more sales... Boom - perfect combo. This part is overlooked WAYYYY too often. But good marketing is just creating a system that pulls together: A Good Audience and a Good Offer that matches that audience. That's it. Don't worry about what words to use, how to make fancy images, or what technology you need. If you're looking to make $1,000 in a month doing this you can do this manually sending emails from your Gmail account. Once you make $1,000 you can then automate the process (which I'll explain where in a minute) So now... let's describe how to do this if we don't have our own product. First - we need to figure out who we are going to market to. So I would head to a company like builtwith.com (honestly I use dozens of resources for getting lists for cold email. There is no shortage of this) Let's just continue with my "Shopify" example. BuiltWith can get you hundreds of thousands of emails addresses for companies that use Shopify that you can reach out to. Second - I need to find an offer to promote to them. So I would head to "Partnerstack . com" This is a website that allows you to be an affiliate for a bunch of software companies. You get recurring commissions for products of all different price points which is amazing. Doing a quick search there I found something called "Switcher Studio" and they pay $300 per sale. It allows you to monetize live video... seems like a good combination for ecommerce. Third - I need to come up with an angle for my emails. I obviously can't just send them a full on promo email and hope they take action. It'd better have some specificity to the person I'm emailing. This is another place people fail. They TYPICALLY just write up some email that promotes "Switcher studio" and send it to everyone and pray. Nah dude... that's now how it works. If it were that easy, everyone would do it! We need to get specific, and the MORE specific you get... the better it'll perform. So what I would do is start doing some research on each person and/or business before I send the outbound message. I know, it sounds like a lot of work... but it takes 5 minutes. See if they go live already, see if they have any presence on social media... SEE WHAT ANGLE you can create. So if I find a brand that goes live a lot, and I have an offer that can help them make more money when they do... it's a perfect combo! Now I craft an email. PERSONALLY - I would not write this myself. I value my time too much to spend hours trying to come up with ideas and emails. I use a company called "[Jasper](" - this company uses AI and they have a cold email template built in (along with a BUNCH of other templates actually). With Jasper I could have a solid cold email written in minutes... and now it's time to send! The goal with cold email is to get your email RESPONDED TO... not to get the people to click. So the first thing we want in our Call To Action in our email is ask them to reply... not to click. Some of the best cold emails I've ever seen even include a recorded video of my site in the cold email. Proving to me they are putting in the work. In the case of this particular offer... there are about 2,000,000 Shopify stores I could get emails for in BuiltWith... I need 4 people to sign up for Switcher Studio each month to make $1,200 per month. I would imagine I could send 50 emails a day... I'd like get about 5-8 responses. Out of 5-8 responses, I would likely get 1 sale every 30 people... So let's say we get 1 sale every 6 days. That's an easy way to get 4 sales a month. Once you actually start making SOME money, proving this works... you can use a company called "MailShake" which allows you to automate this process of sending emails. So now, you take your list of emails... upload it to Mailshake... upload your emails. And you can set it up to send these emails, from your Gmail account, automatically. This allows you to scale BIG TIME. Obviously as you automate you can get AS specific with your emails, so it's a slightly different process... but the idea is the same. Get as specific as you can... and you can now send 1,000 emails a day automatically. I personally know dozens of people using this to make affiliate sales to products in MULTIPLE niches... This entire process, I'll be teaching inside our Mastermind - and I'll even be showing our Mastermind members what offer to promote and what emails they can use. Just another reminder - our Mastermind is amazing! [Check it out here!]( OK... that's it for Part 2! I'll be back soon with Part 3 which is another really cool way to make money as an affiliate for other peoples offers! Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
