I’m fairly new… so perhaps beginners luck, but I have won a 3 night trip to Biarritz, that I saw through the Travelscoop email. Thank you!” Nicola’s full prize is a 3-night stay in a 4-star hotel in Biarritz with breakfast, return flights, airport transfers, and a private surf lesson. Natasha was another first-time winner, from a competition we featured in the Sunday email 3 weeks ago: “My first win!!! My tickets have just arrived so it’s official (eeek) - I’m off to Glastonbury, after winning the National Express competition for 2 free festival tickets, OVER THE MOON.” Natasha’s prize includes return coach travel to Glastonbury, tickets to the Festival and standard camping passes. And Kerry won the Gaydio and Explore Worldwide competition that was in the Sunday email two weeks ago. Her prize is a 7-night small group adventure tour - visiting Athens, Naxos and Santorini in Greece. It includes return flights from London, hotels with daily breakfast, transfers, and all guides/drivers. Finally, Debbie messaged to let us know she’s won tickets to a gin tasting evening with 3-course dinner and overnight stay with breakfast at Langley Castle Hotel in Hexham, Northumberland. Debbie’s prize also includes a gin and tonic goody bag to take away. PRIZEWINNER UPDATES Kim got in touch after enjoying her stay on Easdale Island near to Oban in the Inner Hebrides: “I enter only a few comps weekly as I look for those that could accommodate a family of 4…well I won an Instagram competition recently which was 3 nights self catering in a cottage on Easdale Island (Inner Hebrides).. it's not a place I'd ever have considered but it really was beautiful and I'm so pleased we went, and thankful for this group that led me to competition! Thought I'd share a few photos of our weekend.” And finally this week, Tracey updated us on a big prize trip: “Some of you may remember my fab win last year (a trip to NYC with $1000 spends, or a cash alternative). I took the cash and put it towards a bucket list trip to the Maldives… We had the most amazing time at a very small and laid back resort and can’t wait to go back. Good luck to everyone with their comping.” Congratulations to Nicola, Natasha, Kerry, and Debbie! And thanks for the updates, Kim and Tracey. We think it's important that we're transparent about the value our service can bring you, but also the limitations of this email and our website. We're journalistic at heart, with the aim of helping you to save on travelling and holidays. We do this by seeking out great travel and holiday deals, tips and competitions. We do not offer any travel products or services ourselves - we signpost you to those that do via links. While we are careful to always cover reputable companies that are ABTA bonded, we're not perfect, so remember that you use this information at your own risk and we can't accept liability if things go wrong. So if we don't offer any travel products ourselves, how do we sustain the service? Many of our links are affiliated which means that if you purchase a product or service via these links, a small contribution may be made to Travelscoop. You shouldn't notice any difference, as these links don't impact the products at all. If we're unable to get a contribution from a company, we'll still include the link anyway - it's important to us that we cover the whole market. Lastly, do not construe the information contained in this email and on our website as financial advice. Always do your own research to ensure a product or service is right for you and your individual circumstances. Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
