In the same week, Thailand’s forever tone-deaf TAT announced a campaign celebrating said monarch’s birthday. Disgusting. In other news, I was bitten by a dog a few days ago, so am now going through the fun and games of rabies shots. As the kind doctor told me, the bite was “only” grade 3, which seemed ok till he told me grade 6 bites are when “the dog kills you and eats your flesh”—information I really didn’t need to know. Anyway, some advice—get your rabies shots before coming to Bali as they’ll almost certainly be cheaper than what I’m paying! The theme this week is dogs that don’t bite—that’d be our dogs.
