I was denied a library card

A library card is not just a card ‑‑ it’s a key. A key that unlocks the door to hope, literacy, education, opportunity, and upward mobility. [But this President has demanded Congress eliminate its funding and deprive millions of a public resource so dear to my heart and so valuable to our country.]( I know all too well what’s at stake.
