The fine comes after the company admits that employees in its securities division used personal phones, emails, and tests to conduct company business. This violates record-keeping rules for the securities business. • [Dalio Sees “Merit” in Bitcoin]( Billionaire investor Ray Dalio says that there’s “merit” in Bitcoin, and that it can act like gold for a younger generation given the cryptocurrency’s imputed value. He also states that he’s a believer in blockchain technology, used far more widely in the crypto market today. • [Rivian to Open Plant in Georgia]( Electric car manufacturer Rivian (RIVN) has plans to construct and open a second manufacturing plant in 2022 in Georgia. The $5 billion facility will be capable of producing 400,000 vehicles per year, double the level of the company’s facility in Illinois. The news comes as the company reported that production is falling short at the moment. • [FedEx Gets First Fully-Electric Vans]( Federal Express (FDX) reports that the first 5 of 500 electric delivery vans have been delivered.
