This time the stimulus is coming from the Federal Government instead of some special purpose vehicle, asset purchase or four-letter acronym created by the Federal Reserve. To put it in perspective. The 2021 fiscal year budget for the entire Federal Government is slated to be $1.485 trillion. That includes all government expenditures except unfunded mandates like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Pretty crazy that we went from, supposedly, the best economy in U.S. history to needing trillions of dollars in subsidies in a matter of a few weeks.
