Alert: The TradeSmith Bearseye Signal Has Triggered Dear Reader, My team and I promised to alert all

[TradeSmith] Alert: The TradeSmith Bearseye Signal Has Triggered Dear Reader, My team and I promised to alert all TradeSmith readers if a Bearseye signal — our proprietary indicator of an impending bear market — appears in any of the major market indexes we follow. As a reminder, this signal tells us there is an elevated risk of a crash or severe decline in the index in which it appears. Yesterday, Feb. 23, a Bearseye signal appeared in the Nasdaq 100 index (NDX). Usually, we recommend letting trailing stops dictate your exit points. But if a bear market is coming, we prefer to take extra precautions. If you currently own any stocks in this index, the safest, most conservative course of action is to exit those positions immediately. However, at the very least, we would urge you to immediately sell any Red Zone stocks you may still be hanging on to. And we would advise you to be extremely careful if you are considering any new investments in this index today. For additional insights on strategies and steps to take, our TradeSmith Finance customers will receive an editorial later this afternoon from Justin Brill in our semiweekly Inside TradeSmith editorial. We’ll be back to let you know if the Bearseye appears in any other indexes in the days or weeks ahead. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
