"Stagflation" Could Be Your Invitation To Profit! [Click here to see how a simple 3-step strategy navigates "the perfect storm" to make new Forex traders money]( Two days ago, the World Bank used the term stagflation in their warning to world financial markets. And Wall Street has already started panicking. Hold on there, bucko. We are a looong way from stagflation. What we are experiencing is an unprecedented run of volatility and a trending bear market… Which create the perfect storm for Forex traders. I won't say they're trying to manipulate the market, post-Covid… But I won't say they're not, either, and here's why… Stagflation is a stagnant economy, usually defined by a specific combo: slow growth and growing unemployment. The term was coined in the 1970s when a combination of high oil prices and inflation, coupled with rising unemployment, brought the US to a screeching halt. Yes, both the US and China are experiencing an expected late-pandemic slowdown, with the US's growth rate dropping 2.5%… However, the US unemployment rate has remained at a historic low of just 3.6%. - rock steady. And the bearish stock market of the last 12 months is fantastic news for Forex traders because currency moves thrive in downturns. So, while we will want to keep an eye on that unemployment rate, and on the price of a barrel of crude oil… In my opinion, saying stagflation right now is like shouting fire in a crowded theater. And here's how that World Bank report ends… "Still, today's global economy differs from the 1970s in important ways, the bank said. The run-up in commodity prices, though painful, pales alongside what happened almost five decades ago. Oil prices quadrupled in 1973-74 before doubling again in 1979-80 amid the overthrow of the shah of Iran." Even they know calling this new post-Covid phase stagflation is a stretch. And now you know that you could easily trade this volatility for greater profit than ever before.
