He said something profound about American capitalism: - âWhat's great about this country is America started the tradition where the richest consumers buy essentially the same things as the poorest. You can be watching TV and see Coca-Cola, and you can know that the President drinks Coke, Liz Taylor drinks Coke, and just think, you can drink Coke, too. A Coke is a Coke and no amount of money can get you a better Coke than the one the bum on the corner is drinking. All the Cokes are the same and all the Cokes are good.â Indeed, the same thing can be said for many other technologies. Elon Musk may be worth billions of dollars, but he uses the same smartphone as you do. His computer is the same as yours. He goes to the same websites as you do â Google, emails, games, and so on. Money is not going to buy himself a better internet browser. That is what makes technology so beautiful. And yet, we hear negative stories about technologies â especially artificial intelligence. They will take our jobs! They will increase inequality! Even there are âhorrorâ movies made about technologies â I, Robot, Terminator, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and so on. However, it was through technological innovation that the worldwide poverty rate plummeted from 80% to below 10%, according to the Center for Economic and Policy Research. Marc Andreessen was correct when he said technology is âthe spreadhead of progress.â And he proceeded to name all the technological innovations that made our lives easier and more productive: And guess what? Artificial intelligence is going to unlock new innovations that raise all other peopleâs incomes and standards of living. In fact, Marc called AI âour Philosopherâs Stoneâ: - âWe believe Artificial Intelligence is our alchemy, our Philosopherâs Stone â we are literally making sand think,â said Marc Andreessen. None is going to be more important than equalizing investing. Rich people use the same smartphones as you do, but they absolutely enjoy privileges when it comes to growing wealth in two key ways. First, they have access to hypergrowth startups that historically have a phenomenal risk/reward ratio. However, the âlittle guysâ lack access to these opportunities. Imagine that you liked OpenAIâs new ChatGPT and wanted to invest before it was launched to the public. Unfortunately, youâd have virtually no chance. Why? You must know people to get invited to their fundraising rounds. Even OpenAIâs co-founder Sam Altman admitted in his X post that it is difficult to get access of investing in startups: Is it fair? Absolutely not. This leads to rich people getting richer. So, weâve made a radical decision to open our fundraising round exclusively to retail investors like you. It is about time for people like you to have an opportunity to own private shares in a fast-growing, private startup â like the top 1%. After all, retail investors helped build TradeAlgo into one of the best AI startups in the country. You now have an opportunity to acquire private shares in TradeAlgo just before we launch the new AI platform. Whatâs this platform? We also recognize that the top 1% of investors enjoy access to elite hedge funds like Citadel. They get to generate alpha returns with little work. However, retail investors are stuck with mediocre investment services that underperform the benchmark. So, we are building a new AI platform with the mission of turning it into an automated trading platform of the future. The goal is to reduce the cost of enjoying elite hedge fund services â while generating alpha returns. We believe it could transform the way retail investors trade forever. But I urge you to act quickly to acquire shares because we expect shares to run out very soon.
