If enacted, this legislation will: • Halt the protection and management of Ancestral Footprints of the Grand Canyon National Monument, designated by President Biden under the Antiquities Act; • Cut funding for the management of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument; • Prohibit the protection of crucial lands by President Biden under the Antiquities Act, such as Owyhee Canyonlands in southeastern Oregon and the expansion of Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument in California. [Time is of the essence, and we cannot afford to delay.
