It was amazing. All we had to do was turn up and have five days of fun. When curating the itinerary, I wasn’t sure if my daughters would be up for a 700 meter [zipline (Europe’s longest!), whitewater rafting or kayaking](. But this was a perfect example of the all-to-often underestimated benefit of where experienced guides shine; they give you the confidence to step outside your comfort zone in a safe and reassuring way. Upon returning from our adventure, I asked my girls what part of the experience they will always remember. My oldest said, “Kayaking down that river and jumping off that seven meter cliff into the beautiful clear water of the Soca river!” And my youngest said, “I flew like a bird!” She was talking about her amazing ziplining experience, which I'm sure she’ll remember for the rest of her life. This is what organized adventures are all about at their core: life-enriching, transformative experiences. But not just for travelers.
