Hi {NAME}! I know you’re here to upskill or learn about copywriting. You’re in the right place, don’t worry. HAHA! Peroooo… As much as I can give you all the copywriting wisdom and knowledge I’ve gained over the years… None of these matters if you can’t implement them, right? But how can you tell if you really can’t implement them? Kasi it’s easy to say, “This is not for me. I’ve failed.” Pero when asked how long they’ve been trying to make a breakthrough, I’ll hear them say… “1 year.” “6 months or so.” “A month already.” See, that’s the problem. We often tend to think that because we enrolled in something and made an effort to finish it, We’re expecting the only result is to get that breakthrough…immediately. You can definitely get that much desired breakthrough… But the question is… Are you relentlessly working towards it? Kasi the way I see it, most beginner freelancers are inspired to take action seeing the wins of those who are ahead of them. And because they’re hyped and can imagine themselves having a win as well, they take action. Good job! But then, not long after, reality will catch up to them, and realize… Hindi pala madali ang maging freelancer. Hindi pala siya get-rich-quick scheme. That the only way for you to succeed – like anything else – is if you don’t give up. Kaya lang, what happens is ma-hit lang ng isang setback, gusto na agad mag-quit. Pero hindi ganun ‘yun eh, and we all have different pacing. You can’t compare your progress with those around you. More than the skills, what you need is to have the grit to carry on, no matter what. Imagine, you learned one skill, faced a hurdle, and you suddenly concluded, it’s not for you. Then… You tried out another “lucrative” skill, encountered an obstacle along the way, and you decided, maybe you’re better off doing something else. See where this is going? It’s a never-ending cycle that only ends if you have the resolve to push and see through it to the end. That then is where you’ll find your breakthrough. I guess, what I’m trying to say is, apart from learning a certain skill that you think will help you earn more money… Also make time to work on yourself — your mindset and limiting beliefs… Because at the end of the day… You hold the key to set yourself free from the shackles that’s dragging you down, regardless of what they may be. Do you agree, {NAME}? I want you to spare a few minutes to think about this and assess your current freelancing journey. Then, let me know what you realized after reflecting on it. Enjoy your weekend! 😊 Rooting for you, Mark Darwin Balaswit Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Top Dog Copywriter, Barangay Commonwealth, 1121 Quezon City, Philippines
