Hi {NAME}! One of you messaged me this kaya lang walang context. So hindi ko sure if applicable ba sa kanya ‘yung mga sasabihin ko… But I’m still gonna give my 2 cents about this for those who feel lost if para ba sa kanila ang freelancing or copywriting… Or kung ano ba talaga ‘yung skill na dapat i-offer nila… “I need some advice... like on how I find work na para talaga sakin... kasi minsan confuse ako…” To be honest, ang hirap talaga sagutin nito nang walang context. HAHA! But generally, I’d suggest you find work that doesn’t feel like a chore for you… Meaning, it has to have something in it that you’re really passionate about or interested in. So you’re always excited to clock in for work because you enjoy what you do. Ang simple lang sana nito kung wala tayong iniintinding mga bayaran, ‘no? That’s where it gets tricky. I know a lot of people who started taking a chance at freelancing because they’re desperate to provide for their family. If you’re in the same situation, I understand why you’re confused and lost as to what you should take for a job… Because the amount of the possible income you can take home if you offer a certain skill plays a vital role in “choosing” what job is really for you. Lalo na kung marami kang friends na freelancers and they post about their wins. Of course, like everyone else, gusto mo rin mangyari sa’yo ‘yun. The problem is, magkakaiba ng skill na ino-offer ‘yung freelancer friends mo. Add to that na nakakasilaw rin talaga minsan kung magkano ‘yung income na naiuuwi nila. So paano na? Well, {NAME}, if you’re in a situation where you’re in dire need to put food on the table for your family… I’d say get the job that’ll allow you to be able to fulfill this in the fastest way possible. Whatever that is. Ignore mo muna ‘yung nauna kong sinabi. “Paano nga, wala akong skill or experience sa kahit na ano?” I refuse to believe na wala kang skill or experience. Corporate employee ka pa rin (or dati)? Still a student? Where do you excel the most as an employee or student? Meron at meron ‘yan, and you can use that to your advantage when talking to prospects. Now, if and when you are already at a point where you can provide for your family… I’d like for you to revisit finding a job that you really enjoy doing… Tipong hindi mo na namamalayan ang oras ‘pag ginagawa mo ‘yun. If you happen to find that in a job that allows you to give your family a decent life while at the same time, gives you flexibility to do whatever you want, Then, congrats. You’re one of the lucky people who get to experience that. But for those who are still dreading their work every single day, That’s exactly the reason why I want you to find a job that doesn't feel like a job at all when you’re doing it… Because apart from the monetary gain, it fulfills you on a deeper level. Bakit ko sina-suggest ‘to? Kasi the reality is, despite how rich you become, you will still have to work. You may be able to hire and delegate all the fulfillment for your services... But you, as the owner of the business, are still responsible for making sure everything is running smoothly… So you can keep your clients happy. And if they are, they can put in a good word for you in their network. Anyway, ang dami ko nang sinabi. HAHA! I hope you get what I’m trying to say. 😊 Also, you should’ve realized by now that there are no shortcuts to living the life you’ve always dreamed of. More often than not, they’re not easy paths to take, either. Madalas, success stories na may brief timeline lang ng hardships ‘yung nababasa mo… What you don’t know are the sacrifices and rejections they had to face just to get to where they are now. Just be committed and determined to do the necessary things to achieve your goals, no matter how hard they get. You can do it, {NAME}! 😊 May hindi ba ako na-cover? HAHA. Let me know! Discuss natin next time. Share mo na rin ‘yung realizations mo after reading this. Rooting for you, Mark Darwin Balaswit Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Top Dog Copywriter, Barangay Commonwealth, 1121 Quezon City, Philippines
