Welcome to March. 2022 is in full swing. And by now, over 80% of people have already forgotten about or completely abandoned their goals for the year. If that’s you... consider this your wake-up call! As the saying goes, the best time to plant a tree is yesterday, but the second-best time is TODAY. The best time to act is always NOW. And if you’re already moving toward your goals, keep reading so that when that slump hits (and it will), you’re prepared to keep pushing forward and making progress. So how do you stay the course when you’re tired? When you wake up sick or work gets tough or a family emergency takes priority? The truth is, if you’re waiting for perfect conditions to create the change you want to see in your life, whether it’s building your business, getting fit and healthy, or creating the relationship of your dreams, you’re going to be waiting forever. Conditions will never be perfect. But the good news is, when you learn to manage your mental and emotional state, you can overcome ANY external condition you face. And if you don’t learn to manage your mental and emotional states now, well, that will cost you everything – friends, family, money, success, joy... What if you could FEEL good whether the economy is doing well or not? Or whether it’s raining outside or sunny and warm? It’s simple: - Shift your focus. Put your energy and focus toward the solution, not the problem. Focus on what you can control and find an empowering meaning for what’s happening in your life. - Change your physiology. Get up and move! Change your breathing. Take a cold shower. Go on a run. Dance to your favorite song. Make a “power move.” A radical change in your physiology can create your desired state. Try these 2 things today – or anytime you’re feeling low energy, bored, or disengaged. Use the tools of your mind and body to propel you toward your goals. You can have fun with this, too! At some point today, challenge yourself to snap into a high-energy state – a state of total energy and passion. Notice what happens...
