The person who was killed was identified as Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a popular local radio host, her station, KKFI 90.1, said on social media. Twelve victims, most of whom were children with gunshot wounds, were being treated at Children's Mercy Hospital, the hospital told NBC News. Three people were detained following the shooting, though police did not identify any suspects.
