Vermont State Police said the 71-year-old actor was critically injured when a Honda SUV turned in front of him, ending in a collision that threw Williams from his 1986 Honda motorcycle. This spring, Williams guest starred in HBO's "We Own This City" about corruption in the Baltimore Police Department. He appeared in dozens of films, including the 1979 musical "Hair" and the 1984 epic "Once Upon a Time in America," and was a regular television presence for decades, including a recurring role on "Blue Bloods."
