The Latest   [Actor Treat Williams, known for 'Hair' and 'Blue Bloods,' dies at 71 after a motorcycle crash in Vermont.]( [Treat Williams](, the longtime star of television, film and Broadway, died yesterday in a [motorcycle accident in Dorset, Vermont](, his family said. Vermont State Police said the 71-year-old actor was critically injured when a Honda SUV turned in front of him, ending in a collision that threw Williams from his 1986 Honda motorcycle. This spring, Williams guest starred in HBO's "We Own This City" about corruption in the Baltimore Police Department. He appeared in dozens of films, including the 1979 musical "Hair" and the 1984 epic "Once Upon a Time in America," and was a regular television presence for decades, including a recurring role on "Blue Bloods." He also played Danny Zuko in "Grease" on Broadway in the 1970s and went on to appear in nine other theater productions. “It is all so shocking right now, but please know that Treat was dearly and deeply loved and respected by his family and everyone who knew him," his family said in a statement. Sajak, 76, announced on Twitter yesterday that the [show's 41st season, which begins in September, will be his last](. "It's been a wonderful ride, and I'll have more to say in the coming months," he wrote. The legendary host and co-star Vanna White have been mainstays of the evening version of "Wheel of Fortune" since it began in 1983. White did not make any announcement regarding her future plans on the show.
