THE LATEST [A Libyan suspect in the 1988 Lockerbie plane bombing that killed 259 people is in U.S. custody, authorities say.]( A Libyan man [suspected of making the bomb that blew up Pan Am Flight 103]( over the Scottish town of Lockerbie in 1988, killing all 259 people onboard, including 189 Americans, is now in U.S. custody, authorities said yesterday. It's not clear how Abu Agila Mohammad Masâud Kheir Al-Marimi arrived in U.S. hands. The bombing remains the [deadliest terror attack on British soil](. Masâud will now become the first Libyan operative to be tried on American soil in connection with the bombing. A former Libyan intelligence officer who died in 2012 is the only other person who has ever been convicted in the attack. U.S. officials said Mas'ud admitted to building the bomb in a 2012 interview with Libyan law enforcement. [ð§ A diet high in these foods can increase the risk of dementia, a study found.]( Researchers in a recent study found that people who consumed [20% or more of their calories from ultra-processed foods]( had a [higher risk of dementia](. In a 2,000-calorie diet, that equates to 400 calories each day coming from the likes of 20 potato chips or 30 French fries. The study published in JAMA Neurology followed 10,000 people over 10 years, with the average age at the start being 51.
