    Friends, I’m writing to ask if you’ll consider [making a donation to my re-election campaign]( before midnight tonight. I’m incredibly grateful for the way this team always steps up to support the important work we’re doing together. You’ve been by my side for years, and the truth is, I wouldn’t be able to do this job without you. And doing this job is something I care so deeply about. I love hearing from Virginians and getting a sense of their everyday challenges. I love working with my colleagues to find solutions and reach compromises that work for the American people. And I am asking for your help to make sure I can keep doing this job -- because we’ve got a whole lot more work left to do in the Senate. We need to protect voting rights, secure reproductive freedoms, and keep tackling serious problems like gun violence and climate change. We need to boost our economy and lower costs.
