Friends -- Iâve gotta tell you how much I love being your Senator. Waking up every day and getting to go represent Virginians in the U.S. Senate is the most meaningful work of my life, and Iâm incredibly proud of what weâve been able to accomplish over the past few years. From lowering costs on prescription drugs to supporting American manufacturing to taking historic action on climate change -- itâs just amazing what we can do when we stand up for our values and work together. But if we lose the Senate to the GOP, weâre putting all that at risk -- not to mention throwing away the opportunity to do more critical work like restoring reproductive freedoms and protecting voting rights. I refuse to let that happen. But Iâm going to need your help to hold onto my seat and make sure Democrats keep our majority. My team has set a goal of raising $60,000 online for my re-election campaign by midnight on Thursday -- and these goals are how we stay on track for our overall budget, ensuring we can hire staff on the ground, get the word out about the stakes of the election, and turn out record numbers of Democrats. [So I have to ask: Will you chip in any amount towards our $60,000 mid-month fundraising goal today?]( I really appreciate your support.
