[Kaine 2024]( Folks, One of the most vulnerable Democrats in the Senate is up for reelection next year -- and if he loses, odds are Mitch McConnell will take control of the Senate and assume the role of Majority Leader. We’re talking, of course, about Tim’s friend Jon Tester, the Montana Senator who has served his state and our country with distinction and honor for more than 15 years. Jon is the U.S. Senate’s only working dirt farmer. He lost three fingers on his left hand in a meat-grinding accident when he was a kid. Every year, Jon farms the same land his grandparents settled more than 100 years ago. He delivers his wheat in an eighteen-wheeler, buys his grease by the case and seeds by the ton. He butchers his own beef. He and his wife, Sharla, work the farm hand-in-hand. Put simply, he is Montana -- and the people of his state, and our country, are lucky to have him in the U.S. Senate. That’s why he has an outstanding 60% approval rating despite being a Democrat in a red state! Here's the problem: Republicans spent more than $70 million dollars to defeat him in 2018, and they nearly succeeded. And with Larry Sabato’s Crystal Ball ranking the race as a toss-up, national Republicans are sure to sink much more into defeating Jon in 2024. As we approach the end of the month, we want to do everything we can to make sure Jon has the resources he needs to win. [So we have to ask everyone on this team: Will you split a donation between Jon’s campaign and Tim Kaine to help Democrats maintain control of the Senate?]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $20]( [DONATE $50]( [DONATE $100]( [DONATE $250]( [DONATE OTHER]( We can’t stress enough how much is at stake in this election -- and how committed national Republicans are to defeating Jon in 2024. In fact, Montana’s other Senator, Republican Steve Daines, is chairman of the NRSC this year and has already committed to doing everything in his power to end Tester’s political career. We can't let that happen. [So please, join us in helping Jon Tester win re-election and continue fighting for the people of Montana and all Americans.]( Thanks for reading, Team Kaine [CONTRIBUTE →]( Paid for by Kaine for Virginia Kaine for Virginia P.O.
