{NAME}, Ohio has always been on the cutting edge — from our steel mills to our auto plants, to leading the first missions to the moon, Ohioans have led the way throughout American history. But today, we’re at a crossroads. Ohioans are working harder than ever, doing everything right, and still falling further and further behind. We have a big choice to make. We can double down on the old economy that isn’t working for working people — or we can reinvest in our people, our communities, and our businesses. We can make healthcare more affordable, give our kids’ schools the resources they need, and revitalize manufacturing so we make things here in Ohio again. I know what I choose -- but in order to pass bold legislation like the American Jobs Plan to cut workers in on the deal across our state, we need to expand our Democratic Senate majority and defeat Republican obstruction for good. [Will you pitch in to make sure our grassroots campaign has the resources we need to WIN this battleground race?]( [Donate]( On a recent visit to Toledo, I sat down with workers to hear about what they’re up against. Health care workers who have been asked to take risks and make sacrifices to keep us healthy are too often going without the protective equipment they need themselves. Auto workers who have seen plants close and jobs get shipped overseas don’t want to get left behind as manufacturing evolves. Too many people earn wages that don’t reflect their skills or the hard work they’re putting in. I got in this race to do what I’ve always done — stand with workers and fight like hell for the people who shower after work. I know that we can rebuild our state and our economy, but I need folks like you by my side -- [will you chip in $25 or more to make sure we have the resources to go toe-to-toe with Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump’s dark money allies?]( [Donate]( We will prove once again that our state can compete around the world, our families can thrive, and our kids and grandkids have a future here.
