Sponsored Advertisement Dear Sir or Madam, ADL Israel, with the support of the EVZ Foundation, is convening a special broadcast featuring top Israeli policy makers, representatives of Jewish communities and opinion leaders to take stock of where Israel and Diaspora Jewry stand today. The event will be broadcast live on The Times of Israel’s homepage and on [ADL Israel’s Facebook page]( on Tuesday, March 9th between 18:30-20:00 (Israel time)\11:30am-1:00pm EST\8:30am-10:00am PST. [Click here]( to watch the broadcast live on Tuesday on The Times of Israel. The rising antisemitism and financial and social crisis in the wake of COVID-19, the rifts inside world Jewry, and the protracted political stalemate in Israel alongside certain progress in religious pluralism – are all re-shaping the dynamic between Israel and Jews worldwide. In addition, the Consultation Bill, if passes, is expected to change the dynamic between Diaspora Jewry and the State of Israel. The Times of Israel Editor David Horovitz will be moderating the panel. Diaspora Affairs Minister Omer Yankelevich and Chairman of the Jewish Agency Isaac Herzog will focus on the role Israel should play in this process, followed by a panel discussion from representatives from Israel and Jewish communities. We will be re-assessing the centrality of Israel and Zionism in shaping a shared identity for Jews worldwide, the different role antisemitism plays in local politics and post-COVID challenges more broadly. Panelists include: MK Tehila Friedman, Blue and White; Shira Ruderman, Executive Director of the Ruderman Family Foundation; Ben Dror Yemini, Researcher, Journalist and Lecturer and Bini Guttman, President, The European Union of Jewish Students. The event is taking place as part of the Israel Social Cohesion Summit, an ADL Israel annual event facilitating a national-level deliberation on Israeli society’s most pressing issues. The Summit program is available [here]( in full and it will be broadcast on Times of Israel with translation to English and Arabic. Please register [here]( to receive a link to both broadcasts on the morning of March 9th. While travel is mostly impossible right now, our summit will enable you to hear directly from Israel’s top leadership and trend-setters, and get a closer look at the dynamic overseas.
