The program, which stopped in September, is being revived for a limited time, the Biden Administration said today, allowing each household in the U.S. to order four rapid antigen self-tests, delivered to their door for free. (Separately, people with insurance can also continue to get reimbursed for [eight rapid tests per month]( The kits are part of the Administration’s new Winter Preparedness Plan to combat climbing rates of COVID-19, influenza, and RSV. In addition to the test kits, the government is also providing support to states for mobile and pop-up vaccination sites, as well as preparing personnel and equipment for hospitals should case surges start to overwhelm health care facilities.
