[Tim Alexander for Congress Logo]( Hi {NAME}, it's Tim Alexander. Four years ago this month, Rep. Jeff Van Drew betrayed us in the defining moment of his political career. In December 2019, headlines across the state looked like this: [2019 POLITICO headline: van dre pledges ''undying support'' for Trump as he switches parties]( Longtime Democrat Jeff Van Drew did a complete 180º as a Freshman in Congress and pledged his allegiance to Donald Trump! Rep. Van Drew had voted with Democrats 90% of the time before he switched parties, but when he officially became a Republican, his record turned into this: ❌ Voted against the final passage of the Respect for Marriage Act ❌ Voted to stop the EPA from monitoring emissions ❌ Sponsored H.R.216, the "My Child, My Choice Act" that would penalize schools for teaching comprehensive sexual education ❌ Voted against final passage of the House Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023 ❌ Voted to continue the investigation into Biden's Impeachment Instead of fighting for the issues critical to South Jersey, Jeff Van Drew is now heading up Trump's 2024 New Jersey campaign. [{NAME}, we put Jeff Van Drew in office based on the promise that he would fight for Democratic values in the face of Trump, but he turned his back on those – like he turned his back on us.
