This week at: Hey {NAME}, Happy Friday! We’re well into 2023 now and the days are getting busier and busier. Here's what we have for you in today’s Thrive Nugget… Thrive Nugget: AI isn’t here to "take over"... It’s here to help. AI is the talk of the (global) town and the reactions to it are varied. Some people have embraced it, believing it’s the future. Others are skeptical…what if this is another fad? From where we’re standing, we don’t think it’s a fad. Neither do we believe that this technology is here to take all our jobs, no. AI, like other types of tech, is a tool. And tools are designed to make things better. And today, we’ve broken down a few simple ways this tool can help your business: 1. Transcribing your podcasts, webinars, and meetings. If you’ve ever tried to manually transcribe an audio or video file then you know how long, tiring and, frustrating this can be. Speech-to-text AI tools can save you tons of time by doing the transcription work for you. You’ll still need to check the tool’s work for spelling and grammatical errors - but that’s way better than spending hours transcribing the audio yourself. A couple of AI transcription tools you can check out are Otter, Trint, and Fireflies. Most transcription tools have free plans you can try out, and we recommend doing that until you find a transcription tool that works for you. 2. Proofreading and editing your written content. If you’ve ever used Grammarly, Hemingway App, or similar proofreading tools to fine tune your writing… Then you’ve already seen the power of AI at work. The benefits of proofreading AI tools are pretty straightforward. With the help of these tools you can spot errors you couldn’t find on your own, and ensure your writing is conveying the right tone, voice and clarity. 3. Brainstorming & creating written content for your blogs, emails, and landing pages. We’re sure you’ve heard about ChatGPT at least a thousand times in the last few weeks. Whether you’ve tried the tool or not, take it from us… the hype is valid. This versatile text generator is able to perform a wide range of language-based tasks, like answering questions, writing in a specific style or tone, and completing prompts. Check out this ballad we asked it to write: Awesome, right? ChatGPT stands to offer a lot of value in the content creation process… But - and this is a BIG but - the work is far from perfect. What you receive from ChatGPT often lacks the tone, emotion and accuracy you find in human-generated content. So we definitely don’t recommend copying, pasting, and publishing content straight from the generator. Use this tool - and other AI tools - as a content creation aid. In fact, Tony recorded a quick YouTube Short about ChatGPT and the nifty ways you can use it to help your small business. Check it out [here](. Want Us to Rate or Roast Your Website? This week, Tony hand-picked 5 customers’ websites that were built with Thrive Architect, and [gave his honest opinion on them](. If you think your website is up for the challenge, send your site’s link to chipo@thrivethemes.com and we’ll include it in the next "Rate or Roast" video – which will be out in the next few weeks. That’s all for this week! Have a happy Friday and a great weekend! - Thrive Themes P.S. If you’d like to have your business site showcased in our Friday newsletter, send an email to chipo@thrivethemes.com — that includes your site url and 3 reasons why your Thrive Suite-built WordPress site is awesome!
