This week at: Hey {NAME}, Happy Friday! We hope your December is flowing smoothly & you’re starting to feel some of the season’s cheer. Here’s what we have for you today… Thrive Nugget: 3 Tips to Boost Your Email Open Rates 📈 If your email open rates are lagging, and you’re stuck on how to improve them, here are three tips to show you where to start: 1. Switch up your subject lines Subject lines play a big part in encouraging people to open your emails. - Using personalization tags to tailor your subject lines with each recipient's name, business name, or location - Toy around with different formats to pique your subscribers’ interest. You can ask a question, quote a line from your email, or include a really big stat to encourage subscribers to open your email to learn more. - Run a subject line A/B test on part of your audience, then use the subject line with the most opens to the rest of your subscribers – (we do this A/B testing strategy for every one of our emails!) 2. Segment your lists The more relevant an email is to a subscriber, the more likely they are to open it. Consider adding tags to subscribers in your mailing list based on links they click in your email campaigns, lead magnets they opt-in for, and products they purchase. You can also create segments based on location, gender, and even age (but only if your subscribers provide this information to you when they sign up to your list). Don’t sleep on this strategy. Sending targeted email campaigns that resonate with your different audience segment needs can be a surefire way to boost conversions. 3. Rev up your lead-gen strategy A great way to get more people to open your emails is to grow your email list. You can do this by: - Creating attractive lead magnets & promoting them to new visitors - Using paid ads to drive traffic to your existing offers - Asking your current subscribers to refer your products, services, and content to people within their own networks… even better if you can reward them for doing so! - Run a social media giveaway so people who sign up to your mailing list stand a chance to win a big discount, free product, or bundle of your premium products. New Integration Alert 🚨 GamiPress now integrates with Thrive Apprentice, providing you with a gamified way to encourage students to complete your course. GamiPress — as the name implies — is a gamification plugin for WordPress that allows you to reward your customers with points for completing certain actions. Once they earn a specific number of points, they can unlock access to special rewards and benefits. And now that you can use Thrive Apprentice’s [new Reporting feature]( to identify where your students are dropping off, you can add incentives to these lessons (e.g. points or rewards), to push students to complete them. This integration does require a learning curve — especially if you’re not familiar with shortcodes — so it may take a little elbow grease to figure it out. But if you’d like to learn more about how to use GamiPress to gamify your Thrive Apprentice courses, [check out this quick demo from Tony](. Business Highlight: [Accordion Love]( Accordion Love is a platform that’s helped teach the accordion to tens of thousands of students, from over 200 countries. The site brings together accordion students from all over the world, helping them improve their skills through self-paced lessons. Here’s what we love about this website: 1. Vibrant website design with a uniform smart color scheme that matches the brand, is easy for new visitors to navigate, and clearly communicates the services offered. (Thrive Theme Builder + Thrive Architect) 2. Offers free courses AND paid members-only courses that can only be accessed in the Accordion Love membership area (Built with Thrive Apprentice) 3. Strategically placed opt-in forms (built with Thrive Leads) that encourage site visitors to provide their email address in exchange for a set of free Accordion lessons. That’s all for this week!
