Hello Thrillist readers, If you’ve been with us for a while, you’ve probably started to no

Hello Thrillist readers, If you’ve been with us for a while, you’ve probably started to notice some changes around here. And no, you’re not just imagining things. My name is Lindsay and I’m the new editor in chief of Thrillist. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with journalists all over the globe to publish human-focused storytelling that helps us better understand and explore the world around us. And since I joined Thrillist a few months ago, I’ve been working with this talented team to hone our focus and bring you, our readers, the types of stories you’ve said you enjoy most and that means all things travel, experience, and local culture. Of course, the way we’re covering travel on Thrillist is a bit different from what you might find elsewhere. That’s because we seek out adventure wherever we go, whether that’s to another continent or just down the street. We also recognize that we don’t leave our identities or interests behind when we travel; instead, our journeys are yet another way that we express and explore our true selves. So yes, our coverage is changing, and going forward our newsletter will curate: stories that help make planning travel easier, more accessible, and thrilling; place-based storytelling that explores local cultures and history; and local guides that highlight experiences available close to home. We have so much more in store for you, and I hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a rip-roaring ride. And if you have any suggestions or questions, you can always send me a line: lindsay@thrillist.com.
