I am surely feeling the abundance of fall, defending myself against the sudden nosedive in temperature in the Northeast, and watching some of the most fascinating, inane, and fascinatingly inane TikTok videos the internet has to offer. It’s a historic theater, built in 1926, and a historic moment because it’s the first Broadway theater to be named for a Black woman. It’s currently the home of “SIX,” a successful pop musical about the six ex-wives of Henry VIII. Broadway’s back (with a vengeance) and it’s rechristening some of its most iconic spaces.
