[] Angelina Jolie is [covered in bees](. She got photographed for National Geographic covered in bees for World Bee Day. If you were wondering what Angelina Jolie has been up to, sheâs been working with a group thatâs dedicated to helping women become beekeepers, and is also working to raise awareness about the fact that her public image is all about not being afraid and wandering toward danger while staring directly at the camera with giant, glacial, unblinking eyes. Thereâs something comforting for a child of the '90s and early aughts like myself to know that Angelina Jolie is still out there being all hot and âlook-at-my-knife-collectionâ with her public image. Seasons change and nothing stays, but Angelina Jolie is still taking herself really seriously. Thatâs enough of that tangent. I just needed to look outside myself for once and think about something more global and important, like Angelina Jolie covered in bees. Todayâs Thrillist stories include a vegan pastry operation, travel options, and Fatherâs Day gifts. There are bees in my garden that are all vying for some water around the nozzle of the hose. Maybe Iâll try and take my own photos of myself covered in bees and cold-submit them to National Geographic to see if I can get the same traction as Jolie. If that goes awry and I end up at the hospital, please be sure to have a great weekend without me.
