If I start spiralling in the middle of this newsletter and philosophizing about the nature of regret and anticipation, just know that it’s the caffeine reaching its crescendo point. How was your Cinco de Mayo? Great. Did you hear about the Peloton recall? Apparently a bunch of Pelotons are acting up, so they had to recall a bunch of them, which is terrifying. This is not the robot uprising I had anticipated, but let’s look alive, people! The Pelotons will not win this fight! And I’m not just saying that because I have a constitutional aversion to all structured exercise except for one Zumba video on YouTube that I did every day for the first two months of the pandemic. I do, but that’s not why I’m launching this campaign. It’s because I want everyone to be safe and not have to worry about their exercise equipment eating them. That’s not, as far I can tell, the point of them. I’m going to get all this in before the inevitable caffeine crash. Maybe I should have had some matcha instead. Ah well. Today’s topics include: DOMES! JAM IN YOUR COCKTAILS! FOOD DEALS! AN ALASKAN DIVE BAR! BED, BATH, AND DARE I SAY… BEYOND! And finally… MAKING YOUR OWN TORTILLAS! Wow, I have to go rest my voice from all that yelling. I hope you have a beautiful day and that one day we can all get together and chat about what you’d like to see more of in the newsletter? Celebrity pet news? Political scandals? Astrological watersheds? Russian lit?
