Well, {NAME}, it finally happened. It’s been 12 years of eating poke, and 12 years since my last food poisoning bout. But raw scallops got me, and they got me good. I actually ended up contracting E. Coli AND a parasite from the scallops and it wiped me out to the tune of 14lbs lost. 11 days of barely being able to eat, but fortunately my experience with fasting made it a bit easier to get through. But for the first time in almost a decade, the only calories I could get in were EAA (essential amino acids), white rice, apple sauce and the occasional greens drink towards the latter half. Turns out the specific parasite that I contracted gets wiped out pretty good with garlic, so I took a lot of garlic extract once we identified what it was, and dang, that kicked it much faster. If you find yourself with a parasite (giardia, crypto, etc), I highly recommend high dosing garlic extract capsules. The EAAs were pertinent because I could not digest protein. The moment protein would hit my small intestine, it raced through me like an Formula1 car at Monaco… It was the only way I was able to maintain strength. I used the Organifi Green Juice to try to keep some vitamins in me as well since I wasn’t able to get many fruits and veggies in at all. I think this is what kept my energy levels up so high. The Green Drink I used is here (20% off discount link as well); [( I just started adding their red juice back in as well since fruit is a tad off limits while my stomach heals more (lots of inflammation in the intestines right now, so anything hard to break down tears me up). That’s been a big increase in my energy levels for sure. Definitely notice a difference. Can also get that through the [same 20% here.]( Now, I also went ahead and used BPC-157 and TB500 peptides to help heal the gut layer a bit more as of 3 days ago. HUGE difference there, but note this is my own anecdotal experience, and I do not necessarily recommend you try it. There is some evidence that TB500 and BPC157 may decrease intestinal inflammation (in rodents) so it was worth trying to expedite healing… and in my opinion it’s working. As for my training, I did lots of light weight BFR training as my cramping in my stomach would not allow me to load with heavy weight. However, I felt VERY strong throughout this time and here is why… I probably had more starchy carbs in these last two weeks along with less cardio than I have done in a long time. I was probably just very recovered in that sense, even though from a GI perspective I was wrecked. I will keep everyone posted on my back to health plan. But between this and my wife’s horse accident early in September, it’s been a rocky month! But we’re still here releasing videos every day for you, so don’t forget to turn on those notifications on YouTube! Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
