Hi {NAME}, The highest bioavailable protein sources by DIAAS. What does this mean? Well, it means that when you look at a label, the amount of protein posted on the nutrition facts does not constitute whether or not it’s a high quality protein. This is where the DIAAS (Digestible Indispensable Amino Acid Score) comes into play. It measures how much protein is actually absorbed in the illium, so we have a better understanding of what is actually hitting you. The crazy thing is that even how you COOK food can impact things). Here’s a few of the highest scoring foods: 1. Whole Milk Powder score of 143… This is so wild, because you wouldn’t think that it would score higher than protein powder, but it does. This is because it’s essentially in it’s full spectrum form. 2. Pork Loin score of 139… I have always been a fan of opting for lean cuts of pork, now this makes me even more compelled to choose it. 3. Roasted Ribeye score of 130… What’s wild here is that roasting a ribeye maintains the protein integrity more than cooking it on a grill or at high heat. This can actually make a monumental difference. It seems as though too rare will lower the DIAAS score, and also the higher the heat, the lower the DIAAS score… So, looks like medium to medium rare is where we should be. BTW - If you order through my link for [Butcher Box]( right now you will get [2 free packs of bacon]( every single order for an entire year. Overt the last couple of years I have moved over to eating almost exclusively Butcher Box beef because I am sick of the low quality stuff at the grocery store. By all means though, if you have the ability to support a local farmer and get TRUE grass fed and grass finished cuts, I think you should opt for that route. I mean, it doesn’t get fresher than that. But for the rest of us, getting grassfed and grass finished beef from Butcher Box is about as good as it gets. You’ll never go back after trying it… Seriously. Here’s the link that gets you free bacon with your order: [THOMAS’ BUTCHER BOX LINK]( 4. Whey Protein Isolate score of 125… This stuff is clean. In terms of whey protein, it’s about the best you could do. 5. Egg (raw) score of 122 while hard boiled brings it down to 110-113. I would not advise having raw eggs unless you really are used to it though. 6. Ground Beef score of 121 - This probably has to do with the fact that it’s already broken down so much but also has connective tissue and other great stuff in it. Once again, highly recommend the ground beef or bison from Butcher Box here 7. Smoked Bacon comes in at a whopping 117! Note this is on a scale of 1-100, so this means in a non-truncated form that digestibility is OVER 100! 8. Chicken Breast comes in at a 111 (according to some research, others show 107)... But this is still amazing considering how lean and simple it is. 9. Soy Protein comes in at about 90. I mention this not to bag on soy, but to show that even a complete plant protein (although totally viable and great in many ways) does not have as high of a DIAAS score as many animal protein sources. Again, no issues, just need more of it. This list has helped me a lot… Now note that is expected that an individuals microbiome could dictate their own score a bit as well. So I want to be realistic that it could change. However, I enjoy a good steak and a good burger with an egg on top… so I am in a good spot with my protein intake. I also really appreciate your support with Butcher Box. It does help me and the channel out and you know what, I will be real with you… I do get a couple bucks when someone uses them for their own meat supply, but I am happy to promote and share something that is a big part of my life! See you tomorrow! Thomas Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Thomas DeLauer, PO Box 1120, Stateline, NV 89449, United States

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
