Hi! When you signed up for my newsletter (that's what you're reading right now ;), I asked you what you really struggle with. MOST people fall into 2 categories: budgeting and organizing. You are my kinda people. SO DO I. Let's chat about budgeting --- Here's how to get started... just do one thing at a time and don't get overwhelmed! - Write it all down. Use my [budget binder](=) to help you get started. (Reminder: you can always access the extra printables by [clicking here]() and entering 30daysfreebies including a "10 Ways to Rock Your Budget" ebook, a Bill Payment sheet and more) - Analyze. Now that you have it all written down, really study where all of your money is going. Until you really look at where all your money is going, you don't know how to improve, right? Ignorance is definitely not bliss with budgeting. - Tweak. Tweaking your finances will happen over time. You should be analyzing and adjusting every month to maximize your spending/saving. - Look at the big picture.Having a clear vision of what your goals are and what you want in the future is huge in this. Do you want to pay off your mortgage in 5 years? Save for your kids college fund? Have zero credit card debt? Stop living paycheck to paycheck? This will be different for everyone. Decide what is most important to you and make steps to get there. - When you mess up, keep moving forwardThe truth is, you will mess up. Everyone does! Be kind to yourself and be proud of the positive steps you've made. Don't get caught up in the little mess ups and derail your whole plan. If you're like me and super visual, you might like to SEE your progress. I made a [chart]() to fill in: ---->> This one is for credit cards. Make payments each month and fill in a square. You decide how much each square is worth. So let's just say you owe $50,000 on your credit card. Each square would represent $150. (for each card the amount will be different) When you pay $150, you color in a square. Write down your start date, end date and how much you owe. Stick it in your budget binder! To get it, click the link or the image and fill in 30daysfreebies as the password. For personal use only. And ONE MORE THING!! Before I sign off, I wanted to let you know about an awesome program from my friend Jordan. She put together a [Budget Boot Camp](=) (affiliate) that has 27 short/easy videos. It's really hands on and has a 100% money back guarantee. I'm telling you about it now because A) it's the beginning of the year and everyone wants to get finances in check but B) it's on sale for a few days only. Use the code ["NEWYEAR" for 20% off](=) only through Friday. Plus - anyone who buys before Feb 1, 2019 will be grandfathered in to lifetime program access! Otherwise it’s a $25 annual renewal fee. Let me know if you have any questions! Now let's get to work... xo, Mique P.s. Make sure to get in on Jordan's [Budget Boot Camp]() by Friday!
