And those fake, processed foods are literally designed to be addictive. But the nutritional value of most of these meals is nonexistent, and the trans fats alone are worth avoiding these places altogether.   But in case you needed another reason to give up fast food for good, a 2022 study revealed that most fast food contains high levels of plasticizers called phthalates.
