Also inside: Natural Mood-Boosters & the Diabetes-Depression Connection Thursday, June 1, 2023  Happy Thursday, {NAME}!  Quick Question: Have you ever heard of “Eastern Medicine”? When most people hear this term, they instantly think of a Hollywood inspired version you might see on TV. Their minds are flooded with images of a dark, seedy shop lined with shelves full of glass jars filled with mysterious contents. Each dusty jar labeled with faded, unreadable Chinese characters describing the dried plants and animal parts or bodies found inside. And sitting behind the ancient wooden counter is a stereotypical older Chinese man sipping a steaming cup of herbal tea, smoking a pipe, and practicing karate. It’s not the type of image that instills any confidence in Eastern Medicine… and it might surprise you to know, it’s designed to make you think that way. The truth is, Eastern Medicine doesn’t look like that and is just as advanced as Western Medicine. And in many cases, it is way more advanced! The focus of Eastern Medicine is healing the patient with whatever treatment gives the patient the best chance to treat and beat cancer. We wanted to share this TRUTH with the world! So we traveled to 7 Asian countries in search of the “hidden” healing power of Eastern Medicine. And the good news is we filmed it all! Every single bit ... (Including when we were told to get off the street in Japan and when we thought that one of our camera crew might have been abducted!)   It’s called “[Eastern Medicine: JOURNEY THROUGH ASIA](.” We went to Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and finally India... and as we journeyed from country to country, we interviewed 68 of the top experts (doctors, scientists, and researchers) and uncovered how they treat and beat cancer.  We’re excited to announce that for the next 4 days, we are having our biennial SPRING LIQUIDATION SALE on the entire docu-series.  Until midnight on Sunday, you can SAVE 80%!  It’s raw, real, and eye-opening. This documentary is a treasure-trove of cancer-fighting information… brought to you from 7 different countries in Asia! It’s exciting to watch and it’s informative as well! Please [share this with your family and friends]( so they can get the same liquidation price!   >> [GET YOUR COPY HERE](.  We’ve got some great articles that you may have missed, including the connection between diabetes and depression, 8 natural ways to improve your mood and fortify your skin, and we’re revisiting Project Plato - Johnson & Johnson’s secret plot to stiff the victims of their cancerous products.   Let’s dive in…  Can Skin-Fortifying Substances Also Improve Your Mood?  The abundance of healing plants and other substances available to us from God’s green earth is amazing! This is definitely true when it comes to how herbs, fruits, and other natural substances can help the skin. But did you know that these substances can also help balance your mood at the biochemical level?   “You are what you eat,” as the saying goes. But your body and mind can also be affected by whatever comes into contact with your skin. According to experts, the skin soaks up about 60% of all substances with which it comes in contact! Whether it be an organic extract or a harmful toxin, once a substance is absorbed, it can then make its way to the bloodstream to either heal or cause harm.  >> [Harness the Power of Nature]( <<   “Project Plato”: Johnson & Johnson’s Secret Plan to Limit Payments to Cancer Victims  Johnson & Johnson created a plan to limit the financial bleeding from billions of dollars in jury awards to plaintiffs who alleged the company’s talc products caused cancer. The healthcare and consumer-goods giant assigned more than 30 staffers to “Project Plato.” In a memo on the project in July ‘21, a company lawyer warned the team: “Tell no one, not even your spouse.” In another internal memo, J&J lawyer Chris Andrew wrote: “It is critical that any activities related to Project Plato, including the mere fact the project exists, be kept in strict confidence.”   The covert team would go on to evaluate a strategy to shift all the liability from about 38,000 pending talc cases onto a newly created subsidiary, which would immediately declare bankruptcy. The goal, as a lawyer for the subsidiary said in a court filing: To halt all the litigation and transfer the cases to bankruptcy court, where plaintiffs would compete for compensation from a limited pool of money.  >> [Inside Johnson & Johnson's Plot]( <<   Is There a Connection Between Diabetes and Depression?  Diabetes comes with a whole host of symptoms and complications that can affect everything from your heart to gut function. What is not very well known, however, is the connection between diabetes and mental-emotional conditions like depression. The Mayo Clinic and others firmly recognize that the two are linked, however. The good news is that when you change your lifestyle and eating habits, other conditions such as depression begin to improve as well.   Experts agree that certain neurological environments can set the stage for both diabetes and depression. For example, neuropathy is a condition that affects the nervous system. Nerve communication plays a part in almost everything the body does, from heart rate to the senses. Peripheral neuropathy (that which affects the hands and feet) is quite common among those with diabetes, since high glucose levels can damage the small vessels that supply blood and oxygen to the nerves.  >> [Diabetes & Depression]( <<   On This Day in 1950…  On this day in 1950, in the midst of a tempest of suspicion and fear characterizing the early Cold War era, a critical beacon of hope and integrity was ignited. The Declaration of Conscience, presented by U.S. Senator Margaret Chase Smith and co-signed by six other Senators, stood as a firm rebuke to McCarthyism and a staunch commitment to the principles of American democracy.  To fully appreciate the significance of this act, one must understand the environment of the time. McCarthyism, spearheaded by U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy, was a period marked by an intense fear of communism, leading to a nationwide witch hunt for alleged communist sympathizers. Many were accused and blacklisted based on suspicion rather than evidence. As the smoke cleared post-World War II, the Cold War emerged as the new battleground, a contest not of traditional warfare but of ideology and propaganda.  The early 1950s saw the 'red scare' at its peak. Loyalty tests, public accusations, and an atmosphere resembling the Salem witch trials came to define this era. Fear and suspicion pervaded American life, from Hollywood's glitz to the solemn halls of Congress. Amidst the clamor, voices of reason were often drowned out by the more sensational allegations and the frenzied fear of communism.  Against this turbulent backdrop, Senator Margaret Chase Smith courageously raised her voice. In her Declaration of Conscience, she outlined six fundamental principles of Americanism: the right to criticize, the right to hold unpopular beliefs, the right to protest, the notion of innocent until proven guilty, the right to independent thought, and the rejection of character assassinations and guilt by association. Smith denounced the fear tactics of McCarthyism, arguing that such tactics undermined these principles upon which the United States was founded.  Drawing parallels from the past to our present day, there are striking similarities. Today, we are witnessing an escalating climate of censorship and perceived intimidation, especially around topics of science and medicine. Much like the fear of communism in the 1950s was leveraged for political ends, we're seeing a surge in controlling discourse for ideological purposes.  That’s why we’ve dedicated our lives to sharing what are often unpopular truths. In return, we’ve been slandered, censored, and threatened. But our mission is to save lives and speak the truth. Like Senator Smith 73 years ago, we are standing up to the censorship-industrial complex born of the corrupt state-corporate merger.  “Freedom unexercised may be freedom forfeited. The preservation of freedom is in the hands of the people themselves - not of the government.” ― Margaret Chase Smith  To Your Health & Liberty,  P.S.
