But here’s the thing… Even when Tesla is stinking the joint up while the rest of its “Magnificent 7” bros — well, except Apple, which ain’t doing so hot this year, either — are crushing it, it’s still an amazing stock to trade because luckily for us, puts exist. And I believe Tesla could be setting up for an amazing trade this very week (I generally send entries each Thursday when my indicator confirms a strong enough setup). And we do it all through one ordinary trade — nothing complicated — most weeks. We will skip a week here and there if there isn’t a strong setup forming. But so far, since the program’s inception on July 20, 2023, we’ve had 15 winners in 20 trades so far, hitting on a 75% win rate. The average gain per trade — so including winners AND losers — is 20.07%, we have a profit factor of 2.7 and the average hold time is three days. We’ve hit on six straight winners, going undefeated so far this year. I’d love nothing more than to see that continue until the end of time, but we all know there are no guarantees in trading. There is of course risk involved! But we’ve had a stellar first seven months, and I think Tesla is going to be a fantastic stock to trade for at least two more years. Tesla isn’t any old slow-moving stock, and its momentum cycles generally last for weeks on end, generally four to six weeks at a time. So I can pinpoint bullish and bearish cycles and trade both sides.
