So I wanted to run through a few things that stick out to me about the current state of things. First, Apple (AAPL) is showing quite a bit of strength and holding up much better than the rest of the market. I am however still short AAPL until it hits $176, or a new “Profit Cycle” begins. Some big news hit late Tuesday that Amazon (AMZN) will join the Dow 30 index, replacing Walgreens. Shares got a nice pop of about 1.7% this morning before fading fast. Bitcoin got off to a nice start this week but is sliding back toward $50K, which is why we ALWAYS stick to the rules when trading crypto! Chip stocks have been dominating the market for the past couple of months, and Nvidia (NVDA) reports earnings after the close today. I do not have a directional bias one way or another, but this report could set the tone for the market moving forward in the short term. Not only is the market selling off this week, but according to Win Smart, the “smart money has been selling like NEVER before…” Check out the ratio of insider buying and selling in this chart... [] Which brings me to… Eli Lilly (LLY) is falling again today. It’s now down about $50 since Tuesday morning, which, even though I have about $70K in shares in my account, I’m actually happy about this. And that’s because it should set up a SWEET buying opportunity with the cash I moved to the sidelines — about ⅓ of my entire portfolio is in cash right now, ready and waiting. I discussed this on Friday in my Telegram channel (join at the link below), and so far it looks like the right move! That’s it for now, but don’t forget to join Jack Carter LIVE at 1 p.m. ET TODAY! If you can’t make that session, I’ll be with Jack for an encore presentation at 4 p.m. ET. Jeffry Turmire told everyone on “30 Minutes of Awesome” last wek that things were about to get ugly for the hottest stock of the year, Supermicro Computer (SMCI). His exact words: “This is gonna end so poorly.” For the next few days, SMCI seemed to defy Jeffry’s prediction… Until Friday morning, when all those SMCI buyers suddenly panicked as the stock tanked 20% in a day. [Not only did Jeffry tell us SMCI was going to dump…]( But he told us the exact option play he took… And as you might imagine, those $500 puts are up in a major way! So now the only question now is: Can you really afford to miss this week’s episode of “30 Minutes of Awesome”?
