Apple (AAPL) reports Thursday, and we’re seeing a flight to safer names in the meantime. Health care stocks like Moderna (MRNA) and Teva Pharmaceuticals (TEVA), food names like McDonald’s (MCD), Coca-Cola (KO) — which both just reported earnings — and Hershey (HSY) are seeing a lot of new buyers rotating in. The weakest stocks? Meme names — junk stocks, as I like to say — like Marathon Digital (MARA), SoFi (SOFI) and names with a bit more risk like Coinbase (COIN) are seeing money move out. This all tells me that markets are bracing for downside ahead because these are the names money rotates out of quickly. Back to Amazon, a recent internal audit showed AMZN is one of my most successful tickers to trade. In fact, I’m undefeated* in real issued trade alerts across my strategies! [] I don’t have a directional bias in mind for Amazon today... But if you’d like to see more of my best stocks that I’ve traded, I’ll be live at 2 p.m. ET TODAY, April 30, for an encore presentation of my Road to 100 challenge. I’m also going to give away my No. 1 stock in my No. 1 sector right now.
