Hey Trader, SPY finished up a meager 0.36% after CPI came in right in line at 6.5%. This CPI print was the lowest we have seen since October of 2021! The CPI month over month came in at -0.1% vs the estimates of 0.0%. This marks the first decline in inflation since May of 2020. The market saw this as positive, however, we did not get the large move that we have seen in past CPI prints. Perhaps it was because the markets were anticipating good news in this CPI print and had already moved close to 5% since last Friday's open. The SPY is sitting at a very strong resistance where it previously rejected on 5 separate occasions. Could this finally be the time it is able to break through and push bullish? Earnings season is upon us with many big banks kicking things off today. This earnings season will be critical, as the market is consolidating and forming a triangle pattern, ready to break out one way or the other. Good earnings could push us though some tough resistance to new higher highs and bad earnings could push us lower through key levels to new lows. Our ETF of the week this week is Investco DB Base Metals Fund (DBB). You can learn more about DBB [here](. DBB has been in a channel since its inception in 2008. However, it is a channel from 12 to 26 dollars meaning it moves quite a lot. If you zoom all the way out to the monthly chart you can see a double bottom that has played out over many years with a retest of its neckline happening over the last 8 months. On the weekly time frame it is forming an inverted head and shoulders pattern off of the 200Wsma. On the daily chart it has two double bottoms playing out and it has just now pushed through the 200Dsma. At this moment it is above all of it's major moving averages on all three time frames. It looks dip buyable from here. [DBB Monthly Chart]( [DBB Weekly Chart]( [DBB Daily Chart]( Trade with a PLAN!!!
