Over what? Evading taxes and gun charges. The DOJ [charged]( President Biden’s son, Hunter, with two misdemeanor counts of tax evasion. It comes after he allegedly didn’t pay more than a combined $200,000 in taxes in 2017 and 2018. Prosecutors also charged the 53-year-old with illegal possession of a firearm while being a drug user — a charge that can lead to up to 10 years in prison. Now, Hunter’s avoided a trial by entering a plea deal and will likely avoid prison altogether. What's next? It’s up to a judge to decide whether to approve the deal, which could include a two-year probationary period.
