The Commonality of Criminal Intrusion [The Register](?&utm_source=events&utm_medium=mailshot&utm_content=webcast) Rubrik Zero Lab'’s ‘The Hard Truths’ annual report into the state of data security The Commonality of Criminal Intrusion A free Webinar from The Register 14 June 2023 @ 9am PDT / 12pm EDT / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST [[Local Time](] Hello {NAME}, It is no longer possible to imagine it is just a question of ‘if' a security breach occurs to your organization, or if malicious actors slip in through a vulnerability to play havoc with your data, but when. In Rubrik Zero Labs' latest report into the state of data security, there is no sugar coating the pill. 99 percent of IT and security leaders were made aware of at least one attack in 2022. This is just one figure from a global report which doesn't pull its punches. The research includes insights from over 1,600 IT and security leaders and wide-ranging perspectives from other cybersecurity organizations. It is a disturbing truth to discover definitively that all environment types were maliciously attacked with incidents against the three major public clouds increasing by 70 percent. The fact that 93 percent of external organizations reported bad actors attempting to impact data backups, and 73 per cent of these were at least partially successful is deeply alarming. But happily, all is not lost. Intelligence and information are the first line of defence and there is plenty of both here to help in the fightback in Rubrik Zero Lab's webinar. Join the Register on 14th June 5 pm BST/ 12 pm EDT/ 9 am PDT as Rubrik present the results of their in-depth global study, additional context and insights. They will detail how often organizations are facing cyber threats, how many organizations, in the end, resort to paying a ransom demand, and look at the emotional, reputational, and economic impacts of a cyberattack.
