[TPG | Hero Image] I have a lot of credit cards (23, to be exact). However, I only use a handful of them on a regular basis, and one of them is [The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express](. Now, I know you may be thinking, âI donât have a small business, so why do I care?â Well, for starters, there are many ways to [qualify for a business credit card]( without a formal company. In fact, I was approved for this card several years ago as a sole proprietor with just my Social Security number (I was freelancing for TPG at the time). Now is a fantastic time to apply, as the card features a welcome bonus of 15,000 points after you spend $3,000 on eligible purchases in the first three months of card membership. This isnât a massive haul of points, but considering the card often has no welcome offer, itâs still solid. Beyond that, I love many things about the card and its simple earning structure: - It earns 2 Membership Rewards points per dollar spent on all purchases (on up to $50,000 in spending per year).
- It has no annual fee (see [rates and fees](.
- It works great with other cards in my wallet â like the [American Express® Gold Card](.
- It frequently has terrific, targeted discounts.
- There are no bonus categories to track.
Last year alone, I saved hundreds of dollars by activating (and then redeeming) [Amex Offers]( on my card. Find out more with the following articles: - [Amex Blue Business Plus card review](
