[TPG | Hero Image] Last Monday, award travelers were pleased to learn they could redeem Qatar Airways Avios online to book JetBlue flights. And they were even happier to see modest award rates and minimal taxes and fees for most routes, including 38,750 Avios plus about $10 for a one-way JetBlue Mint flight from San Francisco to Boston. However, the excitement was short-lived as [Qatar revised its award chart and removed online booking]( after just a few days. Now, 74,000 Avios one-way is the listed rate for a transcontinental JetBlue Mint flight. This â along with when [Alaska Airlines offered excellent award rates for Starlux]( for a short time before [increasing business-class Starlux award rates]( by 175% â is a good reminder to act quickly when you read about a new redemption option that you donât want to miss out on.
