by Caroline Tanner, News Reporter
[TPG | Hero Image] Youâve likely been told, perhaps by your parents or grandparents, that thereâs no such thing as a free lunch. Well, not to correct my elders, but Iâd actually have to disagree with that expression and inquire about their current use of rewards credit cards. Even so, Iâm certain thereâs one thing all generations can agree on â saving money, especially when it comes to paying for overpriced food and beverages at the airport. Although Priority Pass is best known for its network of domestic and international airport lounges, you may not know that some versions of membership also include up to $28 in free food and drinks for yourself and a guest ($56 total) at [31 Priority Pass restaurants]( at 22 U.S. airports. This includes some pretty solid options like Landryâs Seafood and Cadillac Mexican Kitchen at Houstonâs George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), Bobby Vanâs Grill at New Yorkâs John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and 400 Degrees Hot Chicken at Nashville International Airport (BNA). Only a handful of cards still convey this benefit, but a popular one is the [Chase Sapphire Reserve]( which is worth adding to your wallet if you can make good use of this perk.
