Plus: Save up to $200 on your next hotel stay September 16, 2023 [THE POINTS GUY]( [View in browser]( [TPG Daily NEWSLETTER]( [THE POINTS GUY]( Hotels might be the ultimate reward by Tanner Saunders, Senior Hotels Reporter [TPG | Hero Image] Points and miles can be great for booking flights — especially if you’re trying to land in business class and don’t want to pay the hefty cash fares that are attached. But I’ve frequently found over the years that using points to book hotels or resorts can actually be more lucrative. In fact, I’d argue that some of the best ways to use points from a card like the [Chase Sapphire Reserve]( or [Chase Sapphire Preferred Card]( is by transferring them to one of Chase’s hotel transfer partners, like World of Hyatt or Marriott Bonvoy, to book award nights. World of Hyatt is an especially lucrative program due to its lower redemption rates. By transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points, you could snag a stay for two at the [Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana]( one of my favorite high-end all-inclusive resorts, for as low as 35,000 points per night. That’s all of your food, all of your drinks and all of your fun for less than it often costs to book a domestic flight. Want to learn more about transferring Ultimate Rewards points to hotels?
