[TPG | Hero Image] Who doesnât love getting something for free? A new car wash recently opened near my house, and it offered a month of unlimited washes for just 99 cents. I signed up less than a week ago and Iâve already washed my car three times. OK, maybe 99 cents isnât quite free, but itâs pretty darn close. The point Iâm trying to make with this story of my sparkly clean car is that I normally donât wash my car very often because I hate paying for it. I am by no means frugal, but there are certain things I donât like paying for. Iâll drive around downtown for 15 minutes to find a free parking spot, and I will also cram everything I possibly can into a carry-on â even if I have to sit on my suitcase to get the zipper closed â to [avoid paying checked bag fees]( I fly. Luckily, there are ways to check your bags for free â 26 ways, to be exact. TPG just shared a guide to the [26 credit cards that feature free checked baggage]( as a benefit of card membership. Checked bag fees start at around $30 one-way for the first bag on most major airlines. Over the course of a year, you can potentially save hundreds of dollars and a lot of hassle trying to get your [overstuffed carry-on]( zipped. After youâve chosen which of these [cards that feature free checked baggage]( best fits your wallet, the only decision youâre left with is choosing which of these checked bags and travel accessories will fit in your closet: - [These are the checked bags carried by TPG's staff](
