Aviation reporter David Slotnick covers what that means for consumers and why you might not be able to count on reciprocal perks between the carriers. Now, on to lighter news - Tarah and Tanner got to meet Dolly last week! -- Becky Blaine, Newsletter Editor ✈️ ✈️ I’m not really a person who gets star-struck. Famous people are people, too, and I’m not one to put them on a pedestal or get flustered around them. One major exception is Dolly Parton. So it was with quite a few jitters that I walked into a conference room at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort & Spa to interview Parton last week. I spent time exploring Dollywood with TPG senior hotels reporter Tanner Saunders and had the opportunity to speak with Parton about what’s in store for the theme park. Dollywood is in the midst of a decadelong, $500 million expansion, which includes Dollywood’s newest coaster, [Big Bear Mountain]( and the new Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort set to open this fall. I expect a long list of exciting attractions and accommodation options will be announced, too. My nervousness melted away within minutes into my conversation with Parton. She spoke passionately about Dollywood and shared her dream of doing something meaningful for her hometown, while cracking jokes about building roller coasters so adults can feel like kids again — I felt like I was having a conversation with a friend. She has an incredible heart, an unstoppable drive and a wicked sense of humor. Read [my interview with Parton about the future of Dollywood](.
