I typically choose five [Suite Night Awards]( as my 50-night milestone, which allows me to upgrade to select premium rooms and suites for five nights. I had five Suite Night Awards set to expire at the end of 2022, so for a recent trip to Munich I broadened my search to all of Germany and its neighboring countries. In doing so, I found the Le Meridien Grand Hotel Nuremberg, which was bookable for less than $113 per night on my dates and would let me request a junior suite using Suite Night Awards. There was no guarantee my request would clear, but my Suite Night Award was approved five days before arrival. And I loved our third-floor junior suite overlooking the central train station and Nuremberg's city walls.
