WHERE YOU CAN GO
Two weeks ago, I made my way from the U.S. to the Middle East in [Emirates first class]( for an exceptional vacation in [Dubai]( (pictured above). I was hesitant to book an international trip during the pandemic, but it was a welcome change of pace, and I felt safe, thanks to enforced mask mandates throughout the UAE.
Fortunately, more and more countries are [now open to Americans]( from [Aruba]( to [Zimbabwe]( with dozens more options in between. Learn more about where you can go, with:
- [The 60+ countries now open to Americans](

- [New tool shows you real-time COVID-19 requirements](
Note that just because you can travel internationally doesn't necessarily mean that you should. I was considering a fall trip to Egypt and Kenya, but decided on a [Southwest U.S. road trip]( instead.
With so much up in the air, [international travel]( can be a logistical nightmare — while you could end up having a fantastic time, a domestic getaway can be incredibly rewarding, and far easier to pull off.
