Special coronavirus report from TPG's team of travel experts We're here to help you find incredible deals, while maximizing your earnings in the process. [TPG]( Mar 19, 2020 What a difference a week makes. Much of the travel world has shut down operations and many Americans are being asked to shelter in their homes. My wife, our almost-5-year-old daughter and I are adjusting to this new reality in our Manhattan apartment. We've started to make photo albums of some of our favorite past trips and are researching new destinations to visit when it's safe to travel again. For now, I encourage you to do the same. Stay at home but keep dreaming of that next trip. The travel industry will need our support. Here at TPG, we are committed to keeping you informed about the latest travel news. We are also adding some new kinds of guidance for these complicated times. Our credit card advice now includes tips on the best earnings for streaming services and food delivery. My family has been shopping for our groceries with cards that earn extra points and using online shopping portals to maximize our spending on jigsaw puzzles. TPG will also start publishing travel deals again because we should all use this time to plan our next adventures. We don't advise traveling before late spring or early summer - and even then, it's important to be mindful of cancellation policies when you book. For now, please do your part to help us end this global pandemic as soon as possible. Stay home, if you can, and listen to your local authorities. As thousands of us will be working from home for the next few weeks, TPG Loyalty Editor [Richard Kerr]( will be going live on Facebook Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at noon ET and doing a 10-minute primer, one loyalty program at a time. He'll do a quick intro to each program and then screen-share their website to show how to do award searches and get familiar with the program -- all with a few tricks along the way. It's not time to travel now, but it can be a time to hone your skills and prep for the days ahead so you're ready to go when travel reopens. Check it out [here](.
